PublishCLUB: A New Initiative within the CESAR Project Launched at FSE

CESAR2026

Today, the first lecture of our new PublishCLUB initiative took place within the CESAR project at the Faculty of Safety Engineering. The initiative is led by Stefan Spitzer, who also opened the series with the first workshop titled: "Publishing Roadmap: How to Find the Right Journal for Your Safety Research".

PublishCLUB is a new format designed to support Ph.D. students and academic staff in strengthening their publication activities. Its goal is to create an open space for discussion, sharing experience, and mutual support in preparing manuscripts for high-quality journals.

The spring programme includes four sessions (three online and one in-person in May), covering publication structure and logic, individual sections of a scientific paper, ethics and citations, and practical examples and discussion.

The format is strongly focused on practical guidance, interaction, and peer exchange. We look forward to the upcoming sessions and continued collaboration within our research community.
