Centre of Excellence for Safety Research

The Centre of Excellence for Safety Research (CESAR) is a new initiative of the Faculty of Safety Engineering at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, funded by the Horizon Europe – ERA Chairs programme. Its main goal is to create a leading research centre dedicated to strengthening excellence in safety science, with a focus on hydrogen technologies and alternative energy sources. Led by Prof. Ernesto Salzano from the University of Bologna, CESAR will foster international collaboration and deliver innovative solutions to the safety challenges of the 21st century.
