CESAR at H2 Forum Ostrava 2026
CESAR – Centre of Excellence for Safety Research participated in H2 Forum Ostrava 2026, held on 30 September–1 October 2026. The event brought together representatives from research, industry, and the public sector to discuss the future of hydrogen technologies, their practical deployment, and the safety challenges connected with their wider use.
On 30 September, CESAR colleague Vojtěch Jankůj took part in the workshop “Hydrogen in Practice from a Safety Perspective” together with Zdeněk Vomočil, Vladimír Dynda, and Miloš Kvarčák. The discussion focused on real-world hydrogen risks, technical and organisational safety measures, emergency preparedness, and the challenges that still need to be addressed when introducing hydrogen technologies into practice.
A hydrogen-powered vehicle was also displayed during the event, giving participants the opportunity to see hydrogen mobility technology up close and connect the workshop discussion with a practical example.
Participation in H2 Forum Ostrava provided another valuable opportunity for CESAR to connect research expertise with practical experience and contribute to the development of a safe and responsible hydrogen economy.
